    Application range

    1.Stabilizing railway subgrades, and the soft foundation treatment of highways.

    Subgrade reinforcement: In sections with weak foundations, geocells interact with the foundation soil to form a composite foundation, evenly distributing the loads transmitted from the road surface to a larger area of the foundation soil, enhancing the bearing capacity of the foundation and reducing subgrade settlement.

    Semi-fill and semi-dig roadbed treatment: When building embankments on slopes with a natural ground slope steeper than 1:5, laying geocells on the horizontal surface of each step can better solve the problem of uneven settlement.

    Roadbed treatment in sandy and windy areas: In sandy and windy areas, geocells are used for roadbeds, which can limit loose fillers and ensure that the roadbed has high rigidity and strength within a limited height to withstand the load stress of large vehicles.

    Backfill reinforcement of abutment: Sufficient friction is generated between geocells and fillers, effectively reducing the uneven settlement between the abutment and the structure, and alleviating the early impact damage to the bridge deck caused by the "abutment jump" disease.

    2.Embankments, retaining walls, independent walls, docks, breakwaters

    Embankment construction: It is used for embankments that bear load-bearing forces. It defines and strengthens the gravel blocks to form a consistent structural body, blocks lateral pressure, can be adjusted by itself, and supports non-structural surfaces and natural vegetation layers.

    3.Used for the management of shallow river channels, riverbeds, riverbanks and beaches.

    River channels management: In the management of shallow water rivers, the power of the three-sided three-dimensional grid filling can be utilized to prevent soil erosion and increase the load-bearing capacity, reduce the construction volume of shallow rivers, and allow the design of the river channel to meet various conditions of traffic and soil quality.

    In desert areas, as the framework of sand-fixing grids, after filling with materials such as sand and gravel, the sand dunes are fixed to prevent the movement of wind and sand. At the same time, it provides a favorable local micro-environment for vegetation growth, promoting ecological restoration and greening in desert areas.

    5.Support structures for pipes and sewers.

    The use of geocells eliminates the need to excavate and place a large amount of stones as the support structure for pipe bed sewers. By using conventional materials to form a solid and durable integral plate structure, it provides flexible protection for the pipes, reduces the slight settlement caused by long-term use, and makes the foundation of the pipes more solid.
